My glass rear window is loose and about half of it is no longer in its pocket. Window is neither cracked nor chipped. Wires still connected for defogger.
What I need is to find someone to re-insert the window
Called two BMW dealers. One quoted me $9800. (Yep $10k). The other said they would find out time and cost. But three days later no call back yet. He thought it could be abt $3k. Both Dealers said BMW rear window procedure is to replace entire top.
I have looked on Internet and several sites recommend glue and have detailed instructions to just re insert window. However all sites said it is time consuming and messy and needs to be done just right. I don't feel I am up to such a task
Any suggestions and recommended shops to use?
